Dodgeville

DODGEVILLE DOWNTTOWNLocated in southwest Wisconsin, Dodgeville lies at the center of a region of great natural beauty and is a growing community of approximately 4600 people. The area is remarkable for its combination of gently rolling farmland, rugged sandstone bluffs and wooded valleys. First settled by lead and zinc miners from Cornwall England. The business district along Iowa Street consists of a variety of specialty shops, professional services and wonderful restaurants. Dodgeville has an excellent pre K through 12th grade school system, which includes a gifted and talented program as well as AP classes. Dodgeville is also served by St Joseph’s Elementary School, which offers pre K – 8th grade education. The area is also served by Southwest Technical College- Fennimore and both the University of Wisconsin – Madison and the University of Wisconsin – Platteville.

Dodgeville, located at the heart of one of the most beautiful areas in Wisconsin, provides the finest opportunities for camping,bicycling,canoeing,fishing,hiking, golfing and wild life viewing. Located half way between Wisconsin’s capitol Madison and Dubuque Iowa, two areas identified as primary business markets. The area is served by the Iowa County Airport and Dane County Regional Airport in Madison.

Upland Hills Health, has become a premier medical center in rural Wisconsin. Located in Dodgeville, it offers outpatient specialty clinic, 24-hour emergency services, a convenient urgent care clinic, modern birthing suites, and a well-staffed dialysis center.
